You’re known for weddings—do you only design wedding florals?
While weddings are a significant part of our work, Madison House Designs also creates floral design for a select range of events beyond the wedding day. Our studio regularly designs for corporate gatherings, private celebrations, and curated social events where thoughtful floral design plays an important role in the overall atmosphere.
Each event is approached with the same level of intention, artistry, and attention to detail, regardless of scale. If you’re planning an event and feel our aesthetic may be a good fit, we welcome the opportunity to learn more.
Do you offer single arrangements or traditional florist delivery?
Madison House Designs operates as a wedding and events floral studio rather than a traditional retail florist. Our work is focused on designing collections of florals that create a cohesive visual experience for an event.
On occasion, we may accommodate one-off arrangements when they align with our schedule and scope of work; however, our availability and process are intentionally centered on full event design rather than individual deliveries.
Do you offer floral packages?
We do not offer pre‑set packages. Our work is entirely custom and begins with a thoughtful design process tailored to your celebration, venue, and overall aesthetic. Each proposal is developed specifically for your event, allowing us to create floral designs that feel intentional, cohesive, and refined.
Is there a minimum investment?
Because our work is custom and full‑service, we take on a limited number of weddings each season. While we do not list a formal minimum, our clients typically value a high level of artistry, detail, and service. We’re always happy to discuss whether our approach is the right fit for your event.
What services are included?
Madison House Designs is a full‑service floral studio. Our services include design development, sourcing, delivery, professional installation, and post‑event tear‑down. From the first concept through the final candle extinguished, every detail is handled by our team to ensure a seamless experience.
What areas do you serve?
We are based in Central Ohio and regularly serve weddings throughout Columbus and surrounding areas. We also accept select events throughout Ohio and beyond, depending on scope and season. Travel logistics are thoughtfully coordinated as part of the planning process.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes. We accept a limited number of destination weddings each year. Destination work allows us to carry the design vision seamlessly from planning through execution, ensuring consistency and intention no matter the location. Travel weddings are considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
When should we reach out?
We recommend inquiring once you’ve secured your venue and wedding date and have a general sense of your design direction. Most clients reach out between 12 months and 4 months prior to their wedding, depending on season and scope.
Do you offer rentals?
Yes. We maintain a curated collection of vessels, candles, architectural elements, and styling pieces that complement our floral work. Rentals are available exclusively in conjunction with our floral services and are selected during the design process to ensure cohesion.
Do you work with artificial flowers?
On occasion, we incorporate premium artificial botanicals when they serve the design—such as for out‑of‑season blooms or environments where fresh flowers may not perform optimally. These elements are used selectively and integrated seamlessly alongside fresh florals to maintain a natural, elevated aesthetic.
Can we see reviews from past clients?

Do you take more than one wedding per weekend?
We intentionally limit our event calendar to ensure each wedding receives our full attention. In some cases, we may accept more than one event in a weekend depending on scope and logistics. Every wedding is planned and executed with the same level of care and focus.
Do you offer floral mock‑ups?
Because our designs are custom and seasonally driven, full mock‑ups are not standard. When requested, they are offered at full cost due to the materials involved. Instead, our proposals include detailed inspiration imagery and thoughtful design guidance to clearly communicate the intended look and feel.
What if I don’t see a consultation time that works?
If none of the available consultation times fit your schedule, please reach out directly. We’re happy to explore alternative options when possible and will do our best to accommodate.
How would you describe your design style?
Our work is rooted in natural movement, refined composition, and a sense of ease. We favor thoughtful restraint over excess, allowing florals to feel intentional, elevated, and in harmony with their surroundings.
