A Refined Garden Ceremony with Vintage Details at Jorgensen
Event location: Jorgensen Farms, Oak GroveSet beneath a canopy of fresh spring foliage, this garden ceremony blended romance, restraint, and thoughtful design in a way that felt both timeless and quietly fashion-forward. Hosted outdoors and welcomed by an architectural floral installation, the setting struck a perfect balance between natural beauty and intentional styling.
The ceremony focal entrance featured a pair of aged doors softened with lush, garden-style florals in a palette of cream, blush, butter yellow, and fresh greenery. The ceremony backdrop was composed of a vintage buffet which we sourced, a heavy wooden cross built by family, and lush florals layered across the buffet surface.
Floral details throughout the space echoed the same refined garden approach: loose, fluffy blooms arranged with air and asymmetry, designed to feel effortless yet intentional. Lanterns and layered vintage accents grounded the ceremony space, while clean rows of white seating kept the overall look elevated and uncluttered.
What made this wedding especially striking was its sense of calm confidenceānothing overdone, nothing competing for attention. Each element had room to breathe, creating an environment that felt romantic, editorial, and enduring.
This beautiful day was expertly coordinated by Lisa Sullivan Events, whose thoughtful planning ensured that every detail flowed seamlessly from start to finish.
Photography by Dan Buckley captured the day with a timeless, documentary eye, while special floral detail photos by our friend, Leigh Elizabeth Photography, highlighted the nuanced textures and moments that make designs like this so special.
This 2015 wedding serves as a reminder that although trends come and go, true elegance never goes out of style.
