A Private Italian Estate Affair at Gervasi Vineyard
Event location: Gervasi VineyardThis celebration unfolded as a private estate affair, set within the calm of Gervasi’s vineyard landscape. The atmosphere was unhurried and peaceful, allowing the surroundings to anchor the experience, while the floral design introduced a sense of scale and intention that was anything but restrained. Lush, architectural compositions were layered throughout the property, creating moments of visual abundance that felt grounded, composed, and deeply connected to place.
Florals became the language of that experience. A carefully curated collection of Italian-inspired vessels—old-world jars, jardinieres, olive jars, and timeworn forms—set the tone, grounding the design in European heritage while allowing the flowers themselves to feel lush, generous, and alive. Each vessel felt collected rather than sourced, as though it had a history of its own. Structural accents that we provided such as statues and busts were also incorporated to further achieve the aesthetic.
The journey began at the entry, where guests were welcomed by floral moments arranged in these Italian vessels, offering an immediate sense of place. From there, they were ushered forward and serenaded with drinks as they passed through three dramatic floral arches, each one heightening anticipation before opening to the vineyard ceremony beyond.
The ceremony unfolded across a wide expanse of lawn, framed by florals arranged in large-scale, assorted old-world vessels that skirted the space with rhythm and depth. The scale was intentional and sweeping—designed to feel cinematic, yet natural—drawing the eye toward the couple while maintaining a sense of openness and grandeur.
Inside the reception, the experience reached its crescendo. Florals danced through the space, suspended from towering structures above guest tables, woven seamlessly among dramatic chandeliers and grand volumes of drapery. Greenery and blooms moved overhead and around the room, creating a layered environment that felt both opulent and atmospheric, with no single focal point—only a continuous sense of wonder.
A unique collaboration with a local landscaper brought in mature magnolia trees, further enhancing the transportive quality of the design. To support them, we custom-built large-scale planters to accommodate their massive balled-and-burlapped roots, allowing these living elements to feel permanent and architectural within the space. Our florals also worked in collaboration with large prop and decor designer, Grace K, who created the stunning fountain feature that played a major focal point in the cocktail space.
Every detail of the day was thoughtfully orchestrated by Natasha of Aisle & Co, whose guidance and vision shaped the experience from start to finish—and who introduced us to the bride at the very beginning of this journey. The day was beautifully captured by Lauren Ashley Studios, whose imagery reflects the scale, emotion, and artistry woven throughout. Some photography included is that of our own in-house for even more coverage of this unforgettable day.
This was more than a wedding—it was a world created for a single day. One rooted in old-world Italian elegance, elevated through floral abundance, and brought to life as a gift to every guest who stepped inside it.
