Historic Elegance at Kenyon College Wedding | A&C

Planned entirely through phone and email, the floral design for this wedding was created to complement the historic collegiate architecture of Kenyon College, with Sam Mather Hall serving as the backdrop for the ceremony. The setting offered a sense of academic tradition and architectural permanence, making it an especially compelling choice for a historic university campus wedding in Ohio.

The florals were intentionally designed to remain in dialogue with the space—scaled to enhance the grandeur of the hall while respecting its historic character. The result was a design that felt thoughtful and place-specific, allowing the architecture of the campus to remain central to the experience.

The day was beautifully coordinated in collaboration with Sophie Chase of The Finer Things, whose planning ensured a seamless and well-paced celebration. The setting itself—rooted in history, scholarship, and tradition—provided a timeless foundation for the day.
