Clean Whites with a Touch of Something Blue at the Columbus Museum of Art
Event location: Columbus Museum Of ArtThis Columbus Museum of Art wedding was designed with a focus on restraint, balance, and timeless elegance. Planned alongside Natasha Churches of Aisle & Company, the celebration embraced a refined, light-filled approach—one that allowed architecture, natural light, and thoughtfully composed florals to take center stage.
The floral design centered on clean white blooms and layered greenery, accented with the most subtle hints of soft, pale blue. Rather than leaning into bold color, the palette was intentionally restrained, allowing texture, movement, and negative space to guide the overall look.
White florals were chosen for their softness and depth, creating arrangements that felt lush yet airy—perfectly suited to the gallery-like interiors of the Columbus Museum of Art. Pale blue details appeared sparingly, offering a quiet nod to tradition while preserving an elevated, neutral aesthetic.
Reception tables were styled with crisp white linens and clear acrylic seating, creating an open, architectural feel throughout the space. Floral centerpieces were designed to feel generous without overwhelming the room, maintaining clear lines of sight and a sense of ease.
The result was a reception environment that felt cohesive, calm, and curated—one that complemented the museum’s warm wood floors, clean lines, and abundant natural light.
Collaborating with Aisle & Company is always a pleasure. Their thoughtful planning approach ensured that every design element felt purposeful and harmonious, allowing the florals to integrate seamlessly into the overall experience rather than stand apart from it.
