A Classic Blush Wedding at the Athletic Club of Columbus | D&R

Our couple's celebration at the Athletic Club of Columbus was defined by timeless restraint and soft romance, expressed through a palette of whites and the palest blush. The floral approach was intentionally classic—lush without excess, elegant without ornament—allowing the venue’s historic architecture to remain the visual anchor.

We focused on two of the club’s most iconic features: the grand staircase and the mantel. Each was adorned with flowing vines of smilax, a floral element we often return to at this venue for its graceful movement and old-world character. The greenery softened the space while adding depth and quiet drama, enhancing the setting without overpowering it.
