An Evening by Candlelight at The Bluestone | H&W
Event location: The BluestoneThis celebration was defined by warmth, generosity, and an ease that carried through every moment of the day. Designing florals for weddings like this—where trust and shared vision guide the process—is always especially meaningful, allowing the work to unfold with clarity and intention.
The floral and décor approach focused on setting the stage through abundant candlelight and natural, vining greenery within the historic setting of The Bluestone. Given the scale of the venue’s expansive stage, layers of candelabras, floating candles, taper candles, and pillar candles were used to create depth, glow, and visual rhythm throughout the space.
A lush, asymmetrical greenery installation framed the ceremony, softening the architecture and drawing the eye toward the couple. Winding greenery continued up and down the staircases in the main reception space, creating movement and continuity across levels. The same stage served as the backdrop for the sweetheart table, allowing the ceremony design to transition seamlessly into the evening.
The day was beautifully documented by Rosey Red Photography, whose imagery captures the candlelit atmosphere and romantic character of the space with care and sensitivity.
