Glamorous Wintery Wedding Columbus Ohio Wedding Florist

This wedding was one of my absolute favorites we designed in 2013~ though it seems just like a few months ago, as my memory of the bride, KC and her creative vision is so fresh! New meets old... industrial/raw meets elegant... unfinished meets refined .... and colors of blush pink and various metallics are some of the ways she described the look she was going for. Photography by Derk Benjamin of Derk's Works is amazing! The ceremony was located at the dramatic St. Joseph's Cathedral in downtown Columbus, followed by reception at Via Vecchia. We used tall white painted curly willow branches to line the entire aisle, creating a dramatic, wintery effect.

KC's bouquet incorporated ostrich feathers, garden roses, dusty miller, and more.

Her gorgeous centerpieces were nothing short of showstopping. One of my favorite features was the hanging string of large pearl ornaments inside the vases. I believe these centerpieces were at least 24" in diameter.

So cute with her mom and dad (and the long eucalyptus garland draping along the whole length of the central railing).

Another great view of the garland. This was a last-minute addition by the bride. We had gone back and forth about doing a fabric and ribbon treatment along the railing, then she thought about hanging lights from it, but I love the final selection of something natural and green. It wasn't bright or showy, but a wonderful, subtle way to bring an organic component to all of the brick and metal at the venue.

We have these darling silver framed table numbers available for rent! And incase you can't tell.... this is a gold painted succulent!
