Wedding flowers are among the most sentimental parts of our customers’ special days, and so many of our brides say that they wish they could keep them forever. We have come up with a beautiful solution for this, which I would call a “Madison House original”! Bring us your flowers after the wedding, and we’ll hang dry them and later create a wreath made of your wedding flowers which you can enjoy in your home for many years to come! Our drying techniques are simple — natural, air drying as opposed to expensive freeze-drying or silica gel drying. We like to keep things simple, natural, and chemical-free.

Commonly asked questions:
How long will my flowers last once made into a dried wreath? We currently do not have the research or past history to know just how long our dried flower wreaths will last and make no claims or guarantees on longevity.
Will my flowers look just like they did as fresh flowers? They will look quite different, and that’s the fun part; it’s like a surprise that you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying once we’re all finished up with it. With the natural drying process, some flowers become even more interesting, some of them keep their color, and some turn either brown or a natural aged/antique look. Shrinking does occur, and some flower types such as orchids, anemone, or tulips for example just rot and will not dry well.
How many flowers do you need to create a wreath? We ask for you to return as much as possible, beyond just the bridal bouquet. Due to shrinkage and some flowers not drying well, this gives us plenty of premium dried blooms and foliages to work with once the materials are dried.
What is the best way to keep the dried wreath fresh? We suggest keeping the wreath indoors, away from high traffic areas/movement and out of direct sunlight. We would not suggest trying to dust the wreath, as parts and pieces may crumble and fall off.
How quickly should I bring the flowers to you after the wedding? We would like to receive those on a monday after the wedding, and we ask you to bring them to our flower barn in Marysville with an appointment for drop-off.
When will my dried wreath be ready? We usually begin wreath creation during our off-season months of December through February. These are done in the order of the date of the wedding. We will call you when the wreath is ready for pick up.
Do you have other options for preservation such as pressed blooms or shadowbox creations? Unfortunately, we do not. We have mastered the art of dried wreath making and know that your flowers and our talents can best be showcased with this method.
What is the cost? For our paying floral customers, the cost is $200 plus tax. For customers using an alternative florist for their wedding flowers, the cost is $250.00 plus tax. This is due upon pick-up of the wreath. Please do not pre-pay.
